Uckfield, Lewes & District Branch

As part of the S.E. Region of the Society, the Branch was established in 1988 and now covers a large area including Uckfield, Heathfield, Lewes and Crowborough and all the many villages in between. During the time the Branch has been in exisvtence it has helped many people with MS lead a more normal life.

Membership to the Branch costs £5.00 per annum and membership is in excess of 100 with ages ranging from late teens to 90+ with a high percentage with MS.

Although we belong to the Multiple Sclerosis National Centre, the Committee organise fundraising events in order to give whatever help we can to support or assist with any specialist equipment required, or just be there to listen when needed. We are always in need of volunteers both for assisting with street collections or other events.

Events are also run specifically to fund the physiotherapy programme at Uckfield Community Hospital and at Crowborough War Memorial Hospital.

We hold coffee mornings on the 2nd Thursday in the month at The Cock & Bull, Uckfield (opposite the Railway Station) between 10 am and 12 noon where we can chat and exchange news of coming events, talk to our MS Nurse if she is available.
